Default EotN Rep Grinding

Which do you all find most tedious? I am sure everyone will have their own opinions. I don't mind delver/asura since they're pretty easy. I guess norn has a point farm in olfastead and I haven't found anything for vanguard.

Anyhow, thoughts?

Honestly, the best way to get titles is filling handbooks/dungeon guides. Breeze through NM ones till you need to use HM (around 4 per title). It's especially quick if you have a mate with which you can use hero set ups.

it's blatantly obvious at this point: stock up on eotn zm/zb, cash them in when there's a double rep weekend like this.

Vanguard is awful, have fun in Grothmar Wardowns or waiting for Wintersday. Next for me is Dwarf, easy but pretty boring if you go after snowmen. I didn't mind asura and norn was cake.

I dunno.. I just ranked 10 in ebon from 4 this weekend- sacnoth has a crazy amount of points you can get.. there's almost 450 and with all the bosses- get the rampage/boss bonus going on double last couple days

went from 80k to 112k in one vq.. it's pretty sweet

Ah, that was the zone I was thinking of, got them mixed up. I find the grawl and elementals somewhat annoying. Fozzy's group is no picnic either, last I remember.

All of them! Anything to do with wasting time doing the same exact boring, unskilled and repetitive tasks is just... *vomits!*

That's why I like PvP so much! Things are usually pretty variable there, though to some extend, the same. It sure beats grinding EotN rep points, though!

Snowman dungeon gets a bit tedious after a while... I went from 75k dwarven rep to 160k which took a good few hours.

None of them. Hell, it gets boring if you repeat it too much in a row, but if you try to switch between one another, or between more things for the same rank...and use zaishens and books...I don't find it so annoying. Without any effort and almost no time, in this weeekend, I brought my new mesmer from rank 0 to 5 in asura and norn just by doing the storyarc and nothing else, and from 0 to 4 in dwarfs just by giving the maps, passing through dungeons to unlock outposts and doing 3 time snowmen for chest running. Vanguard honestly I always do it with books only since I hate Sacnoth (though I must admit it gives a crazy number of points.
My main with just doing the storyarc in nm and most of the dungeons (always in nm apart from fronis) and random zaishens is straining not to reach rank 8 in dwarfs, because I need those moral boosts for the remaining dungeons (seen it's the harder ones)

No one forces you to farm these.

If you're not skipping content, once you do all dungeons, NM and HM, turn in books, including hero handbooks (one of each), and do vanquishes of all EotN areas and all quests - you'll be almost at the maximum of all 4.

all except snowmen (well raptor farming is probably ok) lair of the snowmen is so easy and theraptuci to watch a team of at least 5 elementalists and a splinter barrager tear through a crowd of 15 snowmen. norn is easy, it's just a tad tedious to go kill 250 enemies in HM with henchmen.

I dislike EV pointfarming, particularly in Sacnoth Valley, and there's no really convenient way to farm Dwarven points except by doing Snowmen's Lair, which, as noted, can get qoute boringly repetitive. Asura is better but not all that important for my new warrior. So I spent most of my pointfarming time this weekend in Varajar Fells cranking out Norn points; as of when I packed it in last night, I was less than 40k from max so vanq'ing the other areas should get me there.

Why grind? Just play through dungeons, vanquishes, and the missions. Complete a few sets of books and the like. There's no need to grind.

Your warrior will love you if you get your Asura rank up and give him/her Pain Inverter

I hope your foreign cause that was hardly English.
but i do see your point, they probably went off the /report system, which is a joke. Don't feel bad 3700 other people got it too.

I consider Asura & Delver the easier two of the four.

Fixed.

@OP, By doing all the vanquishing, mapping, dungeons, missions, etc, there is very little left in the titles left to grind.

it all depends when you started. Back when permas and 600/smites were running COF for 1k a pop it was very easy to max out EV.
I hate grinding though myself, but it seems so few people want to do HM eotn missions when it's not the Zaishen.
